Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the PetIQ mobile application and related services (the “Service”), operated by Devcode LTD (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using PetIQ you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

2. The Service

PetIQ is a pet wellness companion that provides AI-assisted health triage, a health log, a pet-food nutrition scanner, a nearby-veterinarian finder, reminders, and a community where pet owners can ask and answer questions. Features may change, be added, or be removed over time.

3. Not Veterinary Advice

PetIQ does not provide veterinary medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. AI triage results, nutrition insights, community answers, and other content are for general informational purposes only and are not a substitute for professional care from a licensed veterinarian. In an emergency, or for any medical decision about your pet, always consult a qualified veterinarian. You are solely responsible for decisions you make about your pet’s health.

4. Your Account

You are responsible for the activity that happens under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You may sign in with email, Google, or Apple, or continue as a guest. You can delete your account or data at any time from Settings → Account Info in the app, as described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Subscriptions, Credits & Payments

• Purchases. Subscriptions and credit packs are sold as in-app purchases and processed by the Apple App Store and Google Play through our payment partner RevenueCat. We do not receive or store your payment-card details.
• Subscriptions. Paid subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Credits. Credits are a consumable digital item used to access certain features (such as AI analyses). Credits have no monetary value, are not redeemable for cash, and are non-transferable. Except where required by law or the applicable app-store policy, purchases and used credits are non-refundable.
• Pricing. Prices and the contents of credit packs may change. Changes do not affect purchases already made.

6. Advertising & Rewarded Credits

The Service may display advertisements, including through Google AdMob. We may also offer optional rewarded ads that grant a limited number of credits. Daily limits and reward amounts are set by us and may change.

7. Community & User Content

• Your content. You retain ownership of the questions, answers, photos, and other content you submit. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and use that content as needed to operate and improve the Service.
• Acceptable use. You agree not to post content that is unlawful, harmful, hateful, harassing, deceptive, infringing, or that puts an animal at risk. You are responsible for the content you submit.
• Moderation. Public content (such as community posts and their media) may be reviewed automatically and/or manually before or after publication. We may remove content, or limit or terminate accounts, that violate these Terms, at our discretion.
• Not professional advice. Community content reflects the views of its authors. Even answers from verified veterinarians are general information and do not create a veterinarian–client relationship.

8. Intellectual Property

The PetIQ app, its design, the PetIQ name and logo, and all related software and content (excluding your own content) are owned by Devcode LTD and protected by applicable laws. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your own non-commercial pet-care purposes.

9. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third-party providers (including Firebase, OpenAI, RevenueCat, Google AdMob, Google Maps Platform, and the Apple App Store and Google Play). Your use of those features may also be subject to the respective provider’s terms. We are not responsible for third-party services.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of AI-generated results. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any assessment will be correct.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Devcode LTD shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any harm to you or your pet arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service or other users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (such as Sections 8, 10, and 11) will survive.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated “Last updated” date on this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have in your country of residence.
